Mexico City: More than 1,000 mariachis set a new Guinness World Record for performing a song at the same time
Son de la negra' and 'Cielito lindo' were among the songs played at the n in the Plaza de la Constitución.
More than 1,000 mariachis broke the Guinness World Record for bringing together the largest number of musicians and playing songs such as “El Son de la Negra” and “Cielito Lindo” at the same time. The musicians congregated in Mexico City's Zócalo to set the new record.
